Grottoes and Cave Temples with Archaeologist Professor Zhao Chao 赵超 [in Mandarin] (Event #32)
Chinese grottoes and ancient cave temples are major landmarks in China. To learn more about them, we invited Professor Zhao Chao, former researcher at the Institute of Archaeology of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, to teach us about the archeological significance behind some of China’s most unique grottoes including Dunhuang, Maiji Mountain, Yun Gang and Longmen.
