With the Beijing Winter Olympics soon upon us, ears are tuning in for news of what exactly that will look like. Here’s what we know: 

Beijing Olympics 2022 Events Schedule

The Beijing 2022 Olympics are set to go ahead as planned February 2nd – 20th, 2022 and the schedule of events is posted on the official Olympic website.

The Beijing 2022 Paralympics are also scheduled (March 4th – 13th, 2022) though the exact schedule of events is yet to be released. 

Tickets and Travel

As of January 18th, 2022, the International Olympic Committee has announced that in-person attendance of all events will be on an invite-only basis (no tickets be available for sale to the general public).

Winter Olympics Venues

The venues for the winter Olympics are set across three different cities: Beijing, Yanqing and Zhangjiakou.
Four existing indoor venues that were originally constructed for the 2008 Games, as well as the Beijing National Stadium (which will host the opening and closing ceremonies), are being used this time.
