Mei Ye（梅叶)

Mei Ye is an independent corporate board director and international business advisor. She serves on the boards of Shenwan Hongyuan Group in China, and Bekaert in Belgium. Mei is a Senior Advisor to McKinsey & Company, and a former Senior Expert and consultant with the firm. She also serves on the international advisory board of Hansgrohe in Germany. 

Mei has a passion for education. She is a board member of Stanford Global Projects Center, an interdisciplinary research center at Stanford University, and the New York Military Academy, a college preparatory boarding school. She is also a fellow at the Tsinghua University Institute for Industrial Innovation and finance. Mei is Adviser to Rhodes Trust of Oxford University and serves on its final selection committee of Global Rhodes Scholars. 

Mei has an M.P.A. in International Economics from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a B.A. in Laws from Fudan University in China. She is an award-winning author of children’s art books, and the co-author of China Vignettes: An Inside Look at China (Talisman, 2007).
