About this Journey

Starting in the “red dragon’s” capital Beijing, you’ll travel to former capital Xi’an, through the cobblestone streets of Yunnan, and end up in the fabled land of Lhasa. Along the way, discover why these diverse cultures have captivated travelers for centuries: from Beijing and Xi’an’s imperial grandeur to Dali and Lijiang’s timeless charm, culminating in Lhasa, the spiritual epicenter of Tibetan life.

Day 1 - 5Beijing
