Andrés Vargas has spent nearly two decades in China, deeply connecting with the country’s landscapes and cultures. As Director of the Latin American Market at WildChina, he leads a dedicated team in crafting bespoke journeys for Latin American travelers. Originally from Colombia, Andrés holds a diploma in Digital Marketing & Communications and a master’s degree in International Relations. An intrepid explorer, Andrés is a DiveMaster, photographer, and adventurer, constantly discovering China’s lesser-known treasures.

Situated along the legendary Silk Road, Gansu served as a crossroads for China and Central Asia. The temples, Buddhist art, and tombs left behind by travelers, merchants, and artists make Gansu one of the most culturally rich provinces in China.
Float down the Yellow River in a traditional goatskin raft, explore mysterious grottoes filled with medieval Buddhist art, marvel at the iridescent Rainbow Mountains, and wander along the western edge of the Great Wall.
