Muzhao Hou

Muzhao Hou grew up in Beijing and remains curious about how a place’s history shapes daily life. That interest guides her work as a travel designer: she looks beyond the main sights to consider the landscapes, neighborhoods, and local stories that give a destination its character.

Her background in Land Resource Management has given her a strong understanding of landscapes and place. Muzhao has also researched cultural heritage preservation in Shenzhen, deepening her interest in how historic districts can be cared for as cities change.

Based in Beijing, she uses that knowledge to plan journeys that feel considered and comfortable for each traveler. Outside work, she enjoys staying active, reading, listening to music, and learning more about history.
