Sara Bergamin

Sara Bergamin grew up near Lake Como in Italy and now calls Chengdu a second home. Her interest in Chinese language and culture began at university and grew through travels across the country. She also spent six months studying on Hainan Island, exploring its tropical surroundings between classes.

Over three years in the travel industry, Sara has worked across both adventure and luxury travel. She draws on that range to design journeys that give guests comfort while making time for local food, stories, and conversations. Speaking Italian, English, Portuguese, and Chinese helps her connect with travelers from different backgrounds.

Outside work, Sara teaches yoga, hikes, reads, and seeks out local places to eat. For her, food is one of the best ways to begin understanding a place and the people who live there.
