Raven Zhong

Raven Zhong is a WildChina travel designer interested in the ways architecture, migration, and memory shape a place. Based in Guangzhou, she spent two years working on historic district revitalization projects and has published academic research on cultural heritage preservation in Shenzhen. That work informs how she explores older neighborhoods and introduces their stories to travelers.

Her travels have taken her through Macau, Hong Kong, Beijing, Northeast China, and Hainan. She has returned to Yunnan twice to spend more time learning about its ethnic traditions and historic trade routes. Raven prefers to explore a place in depth, making time to understand the people and history behind what she sees.

With a background in Land Resource Management, Raven can create custom maps for the trips she plans. She speaks Mandarin, Cantonese, and English, helping her work with travelers and local communities across China.
