WildChina is pleased to announce that our 2013 WildChina Explorer Grant contest has officially kicked off. If you have an idea for off-the-beaten-path exploration in China, then we want to hear from you. Started in 2011, the WildChina Explorer Grant is a gift of up to $3,000 to pursue the adventure of your dreams in China. Applications will be accepted from August 13th to November 16th, 2012. 2013 WildChina Explorer Grant Contest Begins

In 2011, our first winner was Jeff Fuchs for his trip exploring the Tsalam route in Qinghai. In 2012, we had two winners: Shanghua Zhang who traveled to Ganzi Prefecture in Sichuan and William Bleish and Yan Lu who will be exploring the Ailao Mountains this fall. Think you have original idea for exploring China? Let us know, and the 2013 winner could be you.
