Cindy Chen

Together with her husband, Cindy Chen founded WuyiOrigin, a tea company that sells tea wholesale to tea shop owners across China.

Cindy Chen grew up in a small village in Wuyi County, and hails from a long lineage of tea farmers who have been making tea for generations. Her husband also comes from a family of tea producers, who specialize in Phoenix Dan Cong tea.

Together, their goal is to sell their tea, which is crafted from start to finish on-site, to tea drinkers all over the world. The small-batch processing of the tea is all overseen by Cindy herself, and is an important element in their promise to the consumer. She can guarantee that she knows the background of each tea – from leaf to cup.
