Michelle Zhang is the founder of The Society of Heart’s Delight (愉园社) in San Jose, an event space and networking organization uniting Chinese professionals across the Bay Area. 

Michelle is a graduate of Sichuan University and was co-founder of Juheng Law Firm, and then moved from China to Silicon Valley to start a consulting firm that has been providing legal services and consultation for foreign and domestic enterprises and individuals in China for more than ten years.

She acted as the Director of Research of the China Property Management Institute of Chengdu Municipality from 2012-2015, advising the government on local regulations and drafting policies that were implemented on the national level. She is one of the core authors of “Chengdu Foreign-related Legal Service Guide,” which was published in 2017 by the Chengdu Justice Bureau and Chengdu Lawyer’s Association.

Its members are primarily professionals from the diverse fields of business, tech, law, science, academia, arts, non-profits and public service. The Society of Heart’s Delight is headquartered in a historic landmark building in San Jose, California.
