Itinerary

Day 1Kunming

Begin your journey in Kunming, a laidback city with temperate weather year-round, girded by mountains on three sides and a lake to the south • Arrive at the airport and meet your local WildChina guide, who will welcome you and take you to your hotel for check in • Restore balance and harmony with a personalized massage based on traditional Chinese medicine at the Bolian Spa.

Day 2Kunming

Begin the morning with an awakening taichi or yoga session set against the tranquil backdrop of the lake, surrounded by lush greenery and rolling hills • Visit the Bird Market in Jingxing Street, strolling along the shops and stalls offering a wide variety of flowers, birds, and fish • For lunch, savor a local taste of Kunming with a traditional bowl of rice noodles • After lunch, partake in a traditional tea ceremony, learning the time-honored rituals of preparing and serving local Pu’er tea • At the end of the day, unwind under a canopy of stars in the soothing embrace of open-air hot springs.

Day 3Kunming to Tengchong

Spend the morning at your leisure • Take a flight to your next destination, Tengchong, where your local WildChina guide will meet you and to take you to your hotel for check in.

 

Day 4Tengchong

Spend the morning exploring the biodiversity of Gaoligong Mountain with a leisurely hike through its stunning landscapes • After the hike, enjoy a well-deserved hearty home-cooked farmhouse lunch at a local village, tasting fresh, regional flavors • Relax in the transformative Jade Spa at the Bolian Spa to end the day.

 

Day 5Tengchong

Today, step back in time into the quaint 600-year-old Heshun Ancient Town, exploring quiet lanes and experiencing the charm of ancient village customs and traditions • A morning visit to the bustling local market offers a vibrant glimpse into everyday life • For the afternoon, journey to a geothermal wonderland at Rehai Scenic Area, where steaming hot springs meet lush alpine scenery. 

Day 6Depart from Tengchong

After a leisurely morning and enjoying breakfast, your WildChina guide will escort you to the airport and help you check in for your flight home.

What is the payment schedule?

1.Deposit:

Once you are ready to book, a $500 USD per person planning fee is required to begin reserving your arrangements. This will go towards your total trip costs and will be taken off your final balance amount. 

2. Full payment:
Full trip payment will be requested 60 days prior to departure. If you’re booking within 60 days of your departure, you may be asked to pay make the full payment straight away.

Payments can be made via credit card, bank transfer, WeChat or Alipay.
