Xiao Lin, served as the director of the Baima Snow Mountain Nature Reserve, and was amid the the first batch of frontline staff who maintained the reserve. He started working at the nature reserve when he was only 16, and is a self-proclaimed life-long “forest watcher”. Xioa Lin dedicated his career to Baima Snow Mountain and the legendary Yunnan Golden Monkey.
This 35-year commitment to the reserve and its inhabitants is detailed in his recently published autobiography “Shoushan”.
