Zhao Chao (赵超)

Zhao Chao is a retired professor of Chinese Social Sciences and Archaeology in China, and a guest professor of Tang dynasty archaeology in Japan and the United Kingdom. His research topics cover buried documents, ancient inscriptions, ancient philology, archaeology of the Han and Tang Dynasties, and understanding of ancient cultural thoughts through the study of Han paintings.  

He is a member of the Chinese Archaeological Society, the Chinese Ancient Characters Research Association, and is the Vice President of the Chinese Society of Chinese Painting.
