About this Journey

Bike through the century-old historic buildings of China’s Communist and Nationalist past. Dive into 19th-century Guangzhou and learn how Dongshankou made a revival to become Guangzhou’s hippest destination. We’ll start with a visit to Fei Gallery, Guangzhou’s oldest art exhibition, then ride through small streets and alleyways lined with historic villas from the 1920s. 

Next, on to the tree-lined streets of the Xinhepu canal, before finishing at Kuiyuan Gallery for some local art and a balcony-view over the neighborhood below.
